Generally distributed throughout the eastern U.S., ash is a light-colored hardwood.

Usually found in tones ranging from near-white to gray, to light brown, and pale yellow. Ash is an excellent wood for machining, featuring a straight-grained and uniform texture, and is very strong for its weight. It dries easily and there is minimal movement in its performance. With our thermal-modification process, the wood takes on even greater resistance to rot, decay, mildew, and moisture infiltration—plus, becomes a rich, golden hue.
